3. If you’re dissatisfied

If you are unhappy with the response you receive or with the outcome of the investigation:

• report the matter to The Office of the Civil Service Commissioners under the Civil Service Code
• invoke the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 – which allows you to:
  1. make a report externally
  2. complain to an employment tribunal if you are dismissed or suffer any other kind of detriment as a result of whistle blowing
