Overview
If you have concerns about something happening at work, like:
- unlawful conduct
- fraud
- danger to the public
- danger to the environment
- what is required of you is illegal, improper or unethical
tell your someone straightaway – even before you have proof.
Who to tell
Your line manager, unless the issue concerns them. You can also raise the matter with:
- the heads of HR, Finance or Internal Audit
- a ACME trade union representative
- a ACME Nominated Officer
If you still have concerns or feel the matter’s too serious to discuss with any of these people, raise it directly with the Permanent Secretary.
