3. Failure to attend work
If you do not attend work and do not contact your manager, he or she will need to look into the reasons why.
Your manager will need to consider your circumstances but will also consider whether other staff were able to get to work in the same or similar considers.
Your manager may take action under the Department’s unauthorised absence procedure.
