3. Parental leave
In certain circumstances you may be entitled to take unpaid leave to care for children that you have responsibility for. Parental leave can be taken up to the child’s 5th birthday up to a maximum of 4 weeks per year and up to 13 weeks in any 5 year period.
Parents of disabled children are entitled to 18 weeks parental leave up to the child’s 18th birthday.
