5. TOIL and flexible working
You can claim all of your overtime as either a payment or as time taken off in lieu (TOIL). You cannot claim a combination of the two. Your TOIL will relate to the overtime rates above.
Example: If Jo works 2 hours on a Sunday she is entitled to 4 hours TOIL.
Overtime is different from flexible working, however hours you work on overtime can be used to offset flexi debt.
