3. Meal breaks and allowances
You can claim an additional meal break if your overtime hour’s total:
Between 4 and 6 hours: Claim 30 minutes
Over 6 hours: Claim 1 hour
Part-time staff
If you work part-time you will receive the plain time rate until you reach 36 hours a week. Beyond this you will qualify for the rates in the table above.
