6. Training courses and travel time
Training courses
You cannot claim overtime for training courses if you are full time staff. If you are part-time you will be able to claim the plain time rate if you are attending a FT course.
Travel time
If you travel to a training course over the weekend you can claim for the travel time. You can only claim for travel to work if you are required to come to work at short notice to start overtime.
