The ACME Women’s Network (WN) aims to tackle issues particularly relevant to women in the workplace through talks and events and provides an informal space for ACME’ female employees to share experiences and ideas.

If you would like more information or would like to attend a meeting email the Women’s Network or one of our members.

    How we work

Our aim is to share responsibilities widely, so no one person has an unrealistic amount of work to do. Instead we want members to be collectively involved in making the WN more active and relevant.

We also have quarterly steering group meetings which helps us keep track of what the WN is doing and makes connections between the activities.

    Get involved

We are always looking for volunteers to contribute to and take responsibility for the women’s network (WN) in the following areas:

    • Developing the WN online presence and improving communications
    • Organising events with external speakers
    • Organising more informal events and discussions
    • Making connections with other departments and networks
    • Liaising within ACME’s HR, diversity networks and board diversity champion
    • Campaigning and lobbying on specific issues (e.g pay and pensions)
    • Running mentoring matching services

If you are interested in volunteering to take on any of these responsibilities (individually or sharing) or in sitting on the steering group, please email the Women’s Network. There are opportunities for as many people as are interested.
