4. Leave and pay
If you are unable to have alternative working arrangements, you and your manager can discuss:
- annual leave or time off in lieu
- making up lost working time at a later date
- arriving late and/or leaving early without loss of pay
- travel reimbursement (as a last resort) if your alternative journey costs you extra money
- special paid leave, if you have made every reasonable effort to come into work but have been unable to do so.
