4. Who does what
Policy officials
- discuss opportunities for Appraisal and Evaluation with EAU at the inception stage of any new policy or project
- begin planning for an evaluation as the policy is developed with EAU’s support
- identify policy objectives and consider the key performance indicators (KPIs) or success factors against each objective
EAU
- provide support in the development of an appropriate and proportionate Evaluation Strategy
- consider who the evaluation will be managed and commissioned by, ACME or an external organisation
- consider what resources are available for the evaluation – EAU hold a central Evaluation Budget for the department
