Carry out an impact assessment Task
Contact the Evidence and Analysis Unit (EAU) to discuss whether you need an impact assessment. Then:
- prepare a draft impact assessment using the Impact Assessment Template
- obtain internal clearance with ministerial sign off
- obtain external clearance from the Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC)
EAU will provide expert input into drafting, ensure that internal clearance is quick and help identify the correct track for external clearance.
