6. Submission
When submitting the statement to ministers, your recommendation should read that:
“[Policy Minister] agrees the text of the draft statement;
The Secretary of State agrees to the Statement being tabled;
The Lords spokesman takes note of the draft statement.”
Copy in:
- Parliamentary team
- Press Office
- Permanent Secretary’s Office
Supply the cleared text and any accompanying documents to the Parliamentary Team by 4pm latest, the day before the announcement. They will fax it to the Table Office.
