For the Commons, you need to send prior notification of written statements. This notice can’t be given on non-sitting days. For example, if Wednesday is a non-sitting day and you want the statement to be released on Thursday, notify Commons on Tuesday.
For the Lords, no prior notification of a written statement is needed.
