Overview
These are the rules for ACME’s standard hours of attendance. If you transfer out on secondment you should work the normal hours of that office.
Full-time hours
If you work a 5 day week in London, your hours are normally 41 hours, including 5 hours for paid meal breaks. This translates to 7 hours 12 minutes a day.
Meal breaks
You have one hour for lunch a day and must take a minimum of 30 minutes. You can vary this and take up to two hours if you work flexible hours.
Development managers responsibilities
If you have line management responsibility make sure your staff know normal daily starting and finishing times and do not take excessive lunch breaks.
