2. Advances
On joining
You can request a mid-monthly advance for up to three months on joining the Department if you were previously unemployed or not paid monthly.
To request this, contact HR within seven days of the first month in which you need an advance.
Emergency advances/payment errors
If your pay has not been credited to your account ACME HR will investigate and arrange for an emergency payment to you.
You must repay the emergency advance immediately if an overpayment occurs.
