How your Development Manager is allocated Task

HR is responsible for allocating Development Managers. Your Development Manager should be responsible for between four and six people with a mix of some high fliers, some satisfactory performers and at least one person that needs more development input than the others.

If you are a Development Manager and you feel you are responsible for too many people or have too many staff needing more development input than others, you should contact HR

HR should:

  • maintain up to date information on Oracle of Development Managers and their staff
  • give you a Development Manager if you are new to ACME, returning to the Department or if you do not have a Development Manager for any other reason. Please use this request form if you would like HR to find you a Development Manager
  • make sure that  you have a Development Manager before you go on a loan or secondment so that you can keep in touch
  • find you a new Development Manager if you want to change the one you currently have. Please use this change request form.
