2. Career breaks

If you are eligible you can take up to 5 years unpaid leave for domestic responsibilities. To maintain your skills you’ll need to do a number of paid days work each year. HR will arrange this with you under the ‘Keeping in Touch’ scheme.

To be eligible you must:

  • pass your probation
  • be a satisfactory performer and attender

To apply for a career break, speak to your activity manager and complete a Workforce Planning Form. Submit your form to HR.
