4. Responsibilities
The NDPBs:
- Accounting Officer is responsible for effective provision of internal audit
- Board is responsible for making sure proper internal audit arrangements are established and maintained
Their internal audit service should be:
- independent of line management
- responsible to the NDPB Accounting Officer
